Homeostasis- the ability to maintain a relatively stable internal environment in an ever-changing outside world.
When homeostasis occurs, chemical, thermal, and neutral factors interact to maintain homeostasis. Their is a change in the body and their are 3 Interdependent components that work in the body.
The first one is a Receptor, he monitors the envirnments and responds to changes, also called the stimuli.
The secod one is the Control Center, determines the set point at which the variables is maintained.
The third one is an Effector, provides the means to respond to the stimulus.
The Receptor is the sensor and sences what ever needs to be done to get the other back into action, its like a cycle or cirle of work in the body. However is something goes wrong, the output shuts off the orginal stimulus, leading to many things such as, regulation of blood glucose levels. When the feedback is positive, the output enhances or exaggerates the original stimulus, leading to regulation of blood clotting. The important thing is to keep your equilibrium balanced, at a normal rate.
